The Adolescent Girls Program focuses on building strong young women with an emphasis on the value of the girl child, education and delaying early marriage. Recognizing the fundamental human rights of girls and women as equal to those of boys and men is a core tenet of the program. Utilizing an interactive teaching approach, CRHP is showing girls as well as their communities the importance of a girl’s right to earn, defend themselves and to make choices that reduce their risk of violence and ill-health.
